Malaysia is a multi-racial country. It is important to strengthen the use of Bahasa Malaysia as the official language in the country. Bahasa Malaysia plays a vital role in the educational context from primary school, secondary school to higher- lever educational institutes. For pri-mary SJK students, if they failed BM subject in the UPSR examination, they have to enter remove class before proceeding to Form 1. This phenomenon has shown us that the BM status in Malaysia has surpassed any other languages including English and Chinese languages.

Many students encounter difficulties in learning BM, such as memorizing the essay models,puzzled with the meaning of words and sentences and difficulty constructing sentences. Many students even directly translate English and Chinese to BM in essay writing and constructing sentences. The reason students avoid learning BM because they feel that BM is boring and start losing faith in answering questions in BM examination.

In turn to help students mastering BM, The BM World is providing a holistic BM Specialist programme, aimed at aiding the students to achieve excellent BM result in Malaysian National Curriculum and Examination Syllabus. The purpose of promoting this programmeis to rectify the grammar and sentence structure errors of students as well as improving the students’ BM skills in terms of speaking, communicating and writing.

The BM World requires students to sit for our COMPULSORY placement test and interview before enrollment. Students are divided into different levels according to their proficiency in BM. The class size of 7 students, with the intention of ensuring the students to be fully focus and to develope confidence in BM language. The teachers always encourage students and guidanceto develope positive attitude in learning BM.
